What's the catch?
There isn't one for normal use. Making and exporting captions is free. The paid tier is for high-volume translation, batch jobs, and very long videos, which is what funds the free tool.
Is there a watermark on the file?
No. The exported .srt and .vtt are clean standard files.
Where are my subtitles stored?
In your browser, on your device. They are not uploaded to a server.
